Blue lenses floating in silver metal with screws pressed into the glass itself — no rim holding them, just hardware and intention. That screw has been on the Santos watch since 1904. At some point between then and now they stopped needing to justify it. The top bar is the only thing touching the lens. The rest is air. $1,190 for a frame this considered is not an argument.

Japanese titanium. Hex screws machined from solid, double nylor rim gripping the lens from the inside. The whole frame weighs 28 grams. At $700 most eyewear is selling you a name on the temple. DITA is selling you the object itself and the name is almost incidental.

Started on a beach cart in Lahaina because the Hawaiian sun was destroying standard lenses. PolarizedPlus2 kills the glare and pushes color up at the same time — two things standard polarization trades against each other. Full titanium, saltwater resistant. Put them on outside on a bright day and the world is visibly different. That is not a metaphor.
